Araa's Interview

Araa’s Interview

1.      What’s your real name and country of residence?
Araceli, Argentina

2.      Do you have any hobbies?
Yeah, hanging out with my RL group and doing skateboard, sometimes playing guitar but I can’t since my maid broke my amplifier

3.      How long have you been playing CIT?
I've joined in April 2011, took me a while to join forums though.

4.      How did you start playing on CIT?
Well, you may know Maxii, the most AFK guy on CIT, he is my RL friend, he kept talking to me about MTA and so, when I came to his house I tried it out and it was pretty cool, so I downloaded it in home.

5.      What do you like most about being an admin?
Helping to keep a clean server and developing of course.

6.      Tell us about how you got into scripting/developing.
Well.. When I got kicked from staff, I noticed I liked it too much, and kept trying to get a new chance, which was pretty hard. Scripting would have helped and it's such a good way to help the server. I tried it before but didn't have enough motivation, but when I got kicked, well. I didn't have any other thing to do in the server so I tried it out.

7.      Tell us about the story of getting kicked from staff, what exactly happened?
Well, it happened fast. I got one of my "drama moments" and abused a bug, after that I spoke with someone and that one told Gus that I wanted to be kicked and some other stuff, so he did it. All that happened in two days, but I kinda had a lot of "emotional" problems back then.

8.      Favorite memory in CIT?
Well, I would say when I got Trial for the first time, I kinda put a lot effort on getting it and it's always good to achieve a goal

9.      Do you have any ingame goals?
Sure I do, since I first got Trial my goal was to get L4, ranks doesn't matter to me much now since they caused me a lot of problems, but well that's still a goal. Oh, and reach 1000 won races in tribute to an old friend.

10.  Tupac or Biggie?
None, I don't like them.

11.   How has being a female changed your gaming experience?
Eh, I don't know... I have always been a female and I don't know how others experience is.

12.  How does being a part of the Spanish Community affect your CIT experience?
I love it, the most of the Spanish community is great and friendly, I usually have a lot of fun with them, they remind me to my old times. Where stats didn't matter and I just played for fun.

13.  Tell us more about the founding of The Outstanders.
Well, I needed some reason to stay on the community (ingame) so I created this group with a good friend of mine, Ab-47. We have always wanted to make it serious, and we are still working on making it better.

14.  Do you have any future plans for The Outstanders?
We aim to be official, and then introduce some RP as it's lacking of RP in CIT lately.

15.  Why has The Outstanders been in so many alliances already? Do you think the alliance with NSM will last longer than the other ones?

Well, on our first alliance (TR) we gave TSF and SSA a deadline to become more active, since they didn't we left it. And about CC, I'm not sure since I wasn't active back then. But apparently Ross didn't want us there so he kicked us. And yes, I hope that our alliance with NSM will last longer, they have good and friendly members, they respect us and we do too.

16.  Who is your best friend in CIT?
I'm not really convinced with the term "friend" through internet, but I'd say it's ab-47

17.  What is your favorite cereal?
Any but SpecialK

Amazonic's Interview

Amazonic's Interview

1.      What’s your real name and country of residence?
Thomas, Germany

2.      What inspired your name, Amazonic?
I was about to register a nickname for YouTube when I thought of the Amazon. I basically just added an "ic" and it kind of became an adjective and voilá, there we go. Nothing too special.

3.      So do you have an interest in the Amazon? Or was it just a random choice?
It was actually random, but I love thinking of the atmosphere of it. I'm a guy who loves nature, my nick has something to do with it.

4.      Do you have any hobbies in real-life?
No real hobbies, but there are many things that are interesting for me. Drawing, riding bike, playing badminton, learning new things, a bit of philosophing about topics that have something to do with me or every human..

5.      How long have you been playing CIT?
Since the idea was made. That was a few months before release.

6.      So how has being a founding member affected your CIT experience?
I was not really a founding member. I did take part in some decisions and did test things and play in the beta, but I did not really found the server. However, being pretty much one of the first few people who even knew about the project is just.. well, it's "cool". You're respected, and you know how things began and how they were changing and growing. I was inactive for a few months though, so I do not know allabout the past of the community.

7.      How did you find out about the CIT project?
Dennis sent me a query on another IRC server. He said he was talking to Arran about the idea and invited me to join them. Of course, I accepted. That's how things began.

8.      What are your real-life ambitions?
That is a question I keep asking myself as well. What I basically want is to live a good life with enough money, not alone of course, and yeah.. I enjoy living simple and just like all the small good things in life. Living TOO simple is boring though. I still have much to learn, and what I learn is what I want to teach others. If I'll become an uncle one day (or a father, that would probably, not happen) I would want to be a really good one and always be there for the kids, help them and everything. The father does that usually, but I for myself know that I would be really happy if my uncles and aunts would always be there for me. They can't because they're not living in Germany, I don't want others to live like that. I'm just always there for friends and family.

9.      What did you like most about being an admin?
The powers. You could just fuck idiots in the ass and make them shut up whenever they were being, well, idiots. Not to mention the event features. I surely enjoyed making events if there were no idiots around. Also you're respected by non-idiots, and its fun to talk to other staff about different things.

10.  Favorite memory in CIT?
Moving out of the beta. We were all happy dappy and everything was fun. All staff (including me) got an instant promote to Level 2 when CIT1 was released. Good stuff.

11.  How was the beta different from when CIT1? Which period did you prefer?
The beta had less features, more bugs and many things were not finished and still in a testing phase. That's when everyone made fun events and played together, absolutely no assholery or anything, everyone was just having fun. We barely played on our own. That slightly changed when we moved out of the beta, staff started to do their jobs properly and things. I can't tell what I prefer, both periods were just fun and had their own positive and negative sides. Hah, I still remember when everyone still had random nickname colors. Nobody was inside a team on TAB. :P That was in the beta of course.

12.  Do you ever see yourself return to IG activity?
No. I barely have any interest in the game anymore. If I play then it's because I have nothing to do or because a friend invited me to play - usually. It just became boring, and that won't change. People continue to play on their own, there is less teamplaying, less playing with friends, many idiots online.. those things keep me away.

13.  Tupac or Biggie?
None.

14.  What caused you to leave the staff team?
Hopefully this is the last time people ask me why I left - again. The idiotic players ingame who have no respect and see everything as a game without any rules were pissing me off, daily. My mood was always down, it even started to affect my real life, I realized. Being a staff also kept me on MTA, I simply had to do my job. That's when I decided to leave for the last time.

15.  If the IG side of CIT doesn’t interest you anymore, what makes you stay active in the Forum/IRC side?
The whole community. I simply have friends here, I had a lot of fun with them. I want to keep it that way.

16.  Obama or Romney?
Obama for sure!

Devran'S Interview

DevranS Interview

1.      What’s your real name and country of residence?
-censored- and I’m from Sweden

2.      What inspired your name?
Some of my friends call me Devrans as a joke so…. I chose it since I have bad imagination

3.      Do you have any Hobbies?
I train martial arts, Hang out with friends, and gaming.

4.      Have you been doing martial arts a long time? What type do you train in?
I've been doing it for a total of around 3-4 years. I trained MMA before but for the last 2 years it's been Muay thai

5.      How long have you been playing CIT?
For around 1,5 years I think, maybe a bit less

6.      What are your real-life ambitions?
I do of course want to win the world championship in muay thai. Other than that, make my mom proud of me

7.      What do you like most about being an admin?
Joking around with other admins as they are usually the more mature players
and doing fun/cool events. And of course keep the server clean from rule-breakers

8.      Favorite CIT memory?
The first days in CIT with my real life friends, when we did not care about anything or anyone and just had fun.

9.      Do any of them still play CIT? If so what are their IG names?
No, none of them still play on CIT, they don't get that there's other stuff to do than being with each other, example: join a gang, though I have one friend who I recently recruited to CIT who plays sometimes. His name is Ille.

10.  What are your ingame goals?
Get promoted from Trial (Staff) to L1

11.  How long have you been staff anyway? Seems like you have been a trial for a while.
6+ months in total, I actually lost count. I think I joined the first time 16/02-12, got kicked 18/04-12 I think, And rejoined some month ago

12.  Biggie or Tupac?
Tough one, they are good in different ways. I can't decide since I love them both.

13.  What caused you to leave SAPD?
Grew tired of being in a law group Since I was in SAPD for about 1 year And NSM is kewl. SAPD got a bit noobish to me.

14.  Elaborate on SAPD being “Noobish”
They/we accepted more ''noob'' players which I didn't appreciate, so I left.

15.  Do you ever see yourself coming back to SAPD?
Maybe in the future, but I currently do not plan on it.

16.  How is NSM compared to SAPD?
Sucks now that Gus is back, naa, It's fun to try out new things, I love turfing, Leaders is more strict, And people don't bother me all the time, So I can focus on doing admin things when I'm in ''admin mode''

17.  What is your opinion about NSM being removed from PA?
I really can't say anything since 1. I don't know what happened. 2. I really don't give a fuck, As long as the group remains as it is, I don't care

18.  Obama or Romney?
Obama, Cuz he's black (joke). I really don’t care.

19.  What is your favorite part of the SMU?
Minigun ftw.

20.  What is your opinion on the new car prices? Too low, too high, just right?
I didn't check them all out but I think most of them are a bit high.

Crystalii's Interview

Interview with Crystalii
1.      What is your real country and name?

Ahmed, and I have ties to Sweden, Iraq, and Turkey.

2.      What inspired your name, Crystalii?
Mainly crystals and their beatiful colors... I had this nick for the first time in my tibia server

3.      How is your CIT experience compared to other servers?

Well... I only played on CIT, but I guess I've been on other servers too like CSG and racing servers. The big difference in CIT is the player count; I can't play in a server with a low playercount, because it makes me feel I'm alone. But one thing I like about other servers is that they lag less.

4.      What Hobbies do you have in real-life?
Computer, swimming, all kind of sports.. Yeah that's it I think.

5.      How long have you been playing CIT?
      Exactly 10 months

6.      What are your real-life goals?
Of course, I wanna play less computer and do more sport activities. I also want to be an engineer in the future.

7.      So what kind of engineer would like to be? Civil, Aero, etc.?
That is a question I'm asking myself too, but it will probably be a computer engineer (civil of course)

8.      So would you say you work well with computers?
I do, I'm actually a programmer (VB.NET) and I'm considering if I should go over to C# instead.

9.      As a fellow author, what changes do you hope to see in the CIT News Blog?
This blog have great potential, I only hope to see more good authors contributing to this blog in a positive way. I also hope to see a news feed from this blog sent directly to the cit2.net page.

10.   What are your Goals in CIT?
Well I hope I can get the honourable title on forums someday. I also try to improve my fighting skills. I hope I get among the richest on CIT. Maybe staff. But yeah that's pretty much it. But the most important is that I keep enjoying this game.

11.  Favorite memory of CIT?
I think it's the day I got promoted to a deputy in NSM.

12.   What is your favorite Job in CIT?
I don't work, but I think pilot is a pretty good job. Good enough to be my favorite.

13.   What is your favorite feature in the new update?
This is a difficult question since there's alot of stuff I like with the new updates. But I think it's the new DPR.

14.  Biggie or Tupac?
Tupac

15.  Obama or Romney?
Obama ftw!

The Illegal Immigration Epidemic

Recently, many immigrants of mainly Hispanic descent have been crossing the border into San Andreas. Located in Southern California, the metropolis of San Andreas has been a safe haven for illegal immigrants in the last few years due to how easy it is to find work and maintain a low profile in large cities such as Los Santos and San Fierro. The citizens of San Andreas are fed up with the immigrants not paying taxes and feeding off the legal taxpayers, so the Governor of San Andreas, Aaron Johnson, decided to take action. He proposed a bill for all illegal immigrants be deported as soon as they are discovered. The bill passed through state legislature and went into effect last week.

The state of San Andreas gave the responsibility of deportation to the FBI and the state police known as the San Andreas Police Department (SAPD) because of the experience and skill required uncovering and tracking down these immigrants and the danger of their capture. So far after a just a week of apprehending immigrants, the FBI and SAPD deported 24 illegal immigrants shipping them from the Naval Base in Northern San Fierro, back to Cozumel, Mexico to be detained. Although the program has been considered a success so far by the public and by Governor Aaron Johnson, many of the FBI and SAPD complain of the lack of benefits gained by catching these immigrants. The brave officers who put their lives on the line receive no compensation for completing this dangerous job only a small bonus on top of their salary.

Out of the 24 deportations, 6 have been armed confrontations. When Staff Sergeant of the SAPD, ElTongaz, was asked about the payment he said, “It’s just not enough for what we do. These immigrants will fight to the death to stay in this great country of ours so that makes our job even more dangerous. It may be very likely we lose an officer soon trying to make an arrest, especially due to the ties some of these immigrants have with the cartels and the ruthlessness of their nature. We need more compensation for the job we are doing”. The council of San Andreas is currently reviewing ElTongaz’s request and has not come to a decision yet. Keep posted for updates on this issue.

Later on the same day, NorthSideMafia left PA~ claiming that the alliance is no longer working. The only member remaining in Professional Alliance is Camorra.

What is your opinion about this? Do you think the gangs will come back to PA~? Is this the end of PA~? Comment your opinion below!

Addressing the lack of videos

Reasons for there having been no videos:

1. Since this news is based on new server features, there's nothing to report on right now.
2. Been hammered with homework lately, as you can see by me being ingame a bit less.
3. Next video is this weekend. I'm not allowed to tell you what the topic is. Spoiler, IT'S BIG. LIKE, FUCKING HUGE. THE VIDEO WILL BE LIKE, 10+ MINUTES BECAUSE OF ALL THE NEWS
